Connect the start and end with accepted draft-history bridges. Positions, conferences, and trait buckets never count.

How Draft Path Works

Build a chain from Start to End using 0-10 bridge slots. Blank slots are ignored, and there is no minimum path length: any fully connected path is valid.

What counts Only explicit shared-graph links count: award, college team, NFL team, college teammate, NFL teammate, draft class, or draft round.

What does not count Position, conference, and trait bucket are never valid. Duplicate nodes, repeated exact edges, and padded same-team chains are blocked.

Broad nodes 2024 Draft Class, Round 1, LSU, Heisman Trophy, and team names can work when the shared graph confirms the adjacent bridge.

Scoring Shortest or near-shortest paths score strongly. Middling paths score less. Wild long paths can earn a capped bonus only with connector variety. Hints are -120 per hint; misses are -80 per miss.

Example ruling

C.J. Stroud -> Houston Texans -> Tank Dell is valid because both players connect to Houston. A Caleb Williams -> DJ Moore -> Josh Allen -> Stefon Diggs -> Drake Maye style chain must avoid padding rules: no duplicate nodes, no repeated edges, no more than two same-type bridges in a row, and no endless same-team room walk.

In short: efficient paths are rewarded, absurd long paths can be fun, and padded category loops do not score.
