The UI Score (Upside Index Score) is a 0–100 rating for every NFL Draft prospect. It combines college production, conference strength, athletic testing, and how their profile compares to historical players who made it in the NFL. The higher the score, the more well-rounded and draft-ready the prospect. Blue Chip prospects score 90 or above.
In back-testing against 2022–2024 drafts, the model identifies 60–97% of eventual top draft picks within the top-30 players per position. EDGE rushers and wide receivers show the highest accuracy (93% and 97%). Offensive linemen are harder to project and show 73–77% accuracy at the same threshold.
Prospect scores and mock draft data are updated after major events — the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine, and pro days. The current data reflects all available information as of March 2026. The full database is refreshed annually after the draft concludes in late April.

College production data is sourced from Pro Football Focus annual grades. Athletic testing data comes from the NFL Combine, verified pro-day results, and RAS calculations by Kent Lee Platte. Draft and career data comes from Pro Football Reference. All data is cleaned and quality-checked before inclusion.
