UIR (Upside Index Rating) is our 0–100 rating of a college player’s potential to earn an NFL starting role. We look at his college performance and physical traits, then test the approach against past players’ NFL careers. Higher is better. It is a score, not a percentage chance. Beside it, the Upside Draft Projection says where he is likely to be picked. Both are tested on past classes they never saw, and the results are published on the methodology page.
Other simulators let the CPU pick randomly. Ours uses real ADP data, team needs by depth chart, and GM tendency profiles so every simulated pick reflects what teams are actually thinking. Run 1 round or all 7.
